About Us

Rooted and Brewed's journey began nearly a decade ago under the moniker Cup of Joe’s. Starting with little more than a small coffee kettle and a big dream, the humble coffeehouse in South Florida quickly became a beloved spot for students and workers alike to stop for a break from the din of the bustling city. As our community grew, so did our menu, expanding to include freshly baked goods and quick meals. This change allowed us to transform into a modern cafe, cherished by many.

However, over time, we began to recognize some notable concerns with how we operated. Each day, we found ourselves discarding a significant amount of food that was left over. Additionally, being situated in a rapidly growing city, we became increasingly aware of the environmental impact caused by the reliance on electrical appliances and fossil fuels. This caught our attention, prompting us to completely reimagine how we should operate. Partnering with local farms to source organic ingredients, we implemented a zero-waste initiative, donating unsold food to shelters and composting organic waste to reduce our carbon footprint.
